PRESS CONFERENCE OF DR. MAXWELL M. MKWEZALAMBA, COMMISSIONER FOR ECONOMIC AFFAIRS

Within the framework of the 19th AU summit, Dr. Maxwell M. Mkwezalamba, AU Commissioner for Economic Affairs will, on Monday 16 July 2012 at 10h00, hold a press conference at the Briefing room1 of the new AU Conference Center in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

During the press Dr. Mkwezalamba will address the following issues:

- Harmonization of stats in Africa
- Africa’s financial institutions
- Briefing on the outcome of the G20 Summit
- Alternative sources of Funding for the African Union
- Status of Integration in Africa
- Coordination of the REC’s
