It is the strategic framework for delivering on Africa’s goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
H.E. Mr. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, was appointed to lead the AU institutional reforms process. He appointed a pan-African committee of experts to review and submit proposals for a system of governance for the AU that would ensure the organisation was better placed to address the challenges facing the continent with the aim of implementing programmes that have the highest impact on Africa’s growth and development so as to deliver on the vision of Agenda 2063.

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, the Secretary General of the International Organization of la Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo and the Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Patricia Scotland, undertook a tripartite visit to Yaounde, Cameroon, from 26 to 28 November 2019, in order to exchange views with the national actors on the Situation in Cameroon.

E Thomas Kwesi Quartey represented the African Union Commission (AUC) at the official Memorial ceremony organized on 12 September 2019 in Yaounde by the Cameroonian Government for late Jacques -Alfred Ndoumbe-Eboule, Ambassador of the Republic of Cameroon to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Permanent Representative to the AUC and the UNECA who passed away on 12 August 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The Moungo Development Committee (CODEMO), as part of its missions to build the capacity of Moungo’s youth and to support local development initiatives, has joined forces with the African Union Commission as part of the 1 million by 2021 initiative and the African Institute of Computer Science (IAI) through its flagship programme ‘’Operation MIEJF 2035’’ to organize a training session for 200 young people on digital skills and entrepreneurship in Mbanga, Cameroon.
