The African Risk Capacity (ARC) Agency is established under the Agreement for the Establishment of the ARC Agency (ARC Treaty) as a Specialized Agency of the African Union (AU) aimed to help Member States of the AU to improve their capacities to better plan, prepare and respond to extreme events, natural and other disasters.
